Holy bee swarm batman. We hit a bee swarm outside of Alexandria, Mn on our way into Maple Grove. In a matter of 2 seconds it was splat, splat, and splatta splat. Never experienced anything quite like it, From a clean windshield 1 minute to utter gore the next. Other than that it was an uneventful drive. Drove interstate most of the way which made for nice driving but we missed the local character of the small towns that we passed by. Definitely different driving attitudes as we neared the outskirts of Minneapolis, drivers seemed hell bent on jockeying for position in their quest to reach their destination in the fewest milliseconds possible. We'll spend 2 evenings here and get a chance to meet with Jeff, Jenny and Leah on Wednesday evening before driving down to Austin on Thursday morning. This is the 1st that we've had full hook-ups (water, sewer, and electricity) since we've started so it's been nice to not need to ration our water usage for a change.
Glad u r in Minnesota! So close to home. So nice of Dee Dee to let Leah walk the dog. I'm sure she will remember that for a long time. That's a big deal! See u soon!
