Spending the night in a small city park in Stanley S.D. . We're the only ones in here. We went through Williston, ND earlier in the day. That's the epicenter of the Bakken oil field boom. It looks like things are in a big downturn. We passed many work camps / dormitories that appear to have been empty for some time. Perhaps the low price of oil is a factor. Speaking of the low coat of oil, I've been pretty happy to be paying around $2.34 a gallon or so. That's quite a bit cheaper than in Spokane. It was pretty windy for the better part of the day but I suspect that's fairly common around here. Shooting for Fargo tomorrow, let's see if we make it.
Now I can go to sleep. Was waiting for my bedtime story. You put on a few miles today. Should have good weather for awhile. Am going to forward the pic of your dog to Leah. She will love it. See you soon! Like the facial hair Al😊
ReplyDeleteLove ya,
Paulette
Can you say bed head hair. Trying to cover it with my cap. In contact with Jeff yesterday, hoping to meet up Wednesday. Thanks for the weather report.

DeleteOh my gosh you are up early. Are you sure you are on vacation? That would be cool if if you could see Jeff. I just remembered, I think Jenny and Leah may be passing through Austin on Wednesday. Meeting up with cousins in Rochester. Monday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Friday. She mentioned they may stop in. Hope something can work out otherwise maybe we will have to swing by Rochester on Thursday or Friday if that's when they are there? Oops, there I go, starting to plan your vacation for you. And then we can gat a weed whacker for the cemetery and get that cleaned up and then.....
DeleteNot sure why the time stamp was so early. We're never up before 6 and it's usually 8 before we're on the road.
ReplyDeleteJeff said that Jenny would be home by Wednesday if I remember correctly. It appears that the KOA that we are heading for today is pretty near their home.
